The Process
1. Understanding the client’s requirements
In order for CBT to advise on any water-related matter, it is important that we understand the issues surrounding the water source. Due to the geological and environmental influences no one water source is alike, therefore the more detail we receive the better we are able to customise our recommendations. The main factors to consider are:
Origin of Source - Borehole, River, Dam, Sea, Waste Water
Geographic Location - This can be of assistance to characterise similar sources in the area
Untreated Water Quality - An analysis of the water source is crucial.
2. Process Design
From the information gathered in the first stage, a process design is compiled, covering the mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and chemical requirements of the system. This assists CBT in ensuring an accurate quotation is included in the final proposal document.
3. Quotation
We prepare a Proposal/Quotation which incorporates all the factors considered and collated data. This gives the prospective client a rundown of the issues associated with the source, what CBT proposes to install and how this will be achieved.
4. Final Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning
Should the client confirm their intention to move forward with the project, CBT will commence with the final design of the system. Depending on the complexity of the project this will include, manufacturing, process & instrumentation drawings along with procurement of components.
CBT prides itself not only on the functionality of the system but the aesthetics too, all electrical & mechanical design and assembly is performed in house. Systems are subjected to a variety of tests to ensure the functionality and integrity of the system before it leaves our workshop.
The installation of a water treatment system by CBT is not a once off sale, but rather the beginning of a working relationship with our new client. We offer tailored service level agreements to all our customers based on their level of involvement with regards to the operation of the system.
5. After Sales Service
We offer after sale service to ensure your systems are working optimally as per specification.
